Dullest Records was founded in 2011 by Luis Hernandez and Danny Katz. While it'd be cool if there was some great story behind it, there isn't. We were then and always will be two dudes who want to put out music we love. What we've tried to do has fortunately remained simple: put out records, don't go broke, don't take any of the bands' music. So far, so good. We've never been the biggest label, or had the most money, but we love our bands and do all we can for them. Because of this, we've had the opportunity to work with incredible bands. This compilation is the culmination of our hard work, but we couldn't have done it without you guys. Thanks for giving a shit, hopefully we will give you a lot more reasons to continue doing so...
My eternal gratitude goes to so many it would be impossible to list you all, but I'll try to scratch the surface. Luis Hernandez, my partner in this madness, for tempering all of my ridiculous ideas with logic and business sense, and working harder than anyone I've ever met to keep this label going, All the bands, thank you all for taking a chance with us and making our drunken pipe dreams into a reality. The Price family for being incredibly supportive and likely now partially deaf. Dan Zimmerman for all the art and promo work. Dani Bennov for being an awful intern but a great girl. Zach Whitall for failing only somewhat often and only half miserably.s. All Dullest staff past, present, and future. Albert Mudrian and Decibel magazine. Josh Albright and Urban Arts Syndicate. 3G Brazilian Jiujitsu for letting our tunes be a soundtrack to beatings. Every venue, promoter, and fan who have let our bands fill their ears. And you, for checking us out.
