We are amazingly honored to present to you Cetus's new album, The Remnant Mass. Carving their own niche in heavy music, Cetus has continually challenged and amazed with their truly unique songwriting, technical precision, and emotional bludgeoning. Their new single Jackal in Stasis continues these traditions, but shows an even more developed sense of atmosphere and technicality, while still showing the traits that made us fall in love with Cetus all of those years ago. The rest of the album follows suit, perplexing and exciting at every turn. Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly. Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
