Les Cendres et le Vent is the latest masterpiece by multi instrumentalist and songwriter, JP Marsal, under the 202project moniker. This album is a varied mix of everything from Sisters of Mercy-esque post punk, to Justin Broadrick industrial soundscapes, to even glimpses of hip hop slightly reminiscent of Dalek. Les Cendres et le Vent is brimming with atmosphere, while still rhythmic and exciting. We are honored to be the exclusive US label for this album. Above are 3 of the 13 tracks on this album. While they do a good job giving an overview of the album's sound, the whole thing must be heard to truly understand it.

In JP's own words:

"To pass five months alone with my mother who had a cancer in terminal phase was the starting point of this album.
I want this album to be a exact reflection of the world I was living in at the time (refugees, wars, economic crises, rich more rich and the poor more poor..etc), where everything seems to be so dark but at the same time, like the ashes who will remineralized the ground to make the seeds grow up they must be some kind of hope !"

A short bio of 202project:

202project (Fr) One Man Band (electro blues dark waves Psykèdelique kind off)
202project is the one man band of JP Marsal since 1996. He was one of those kids who starts a band without ever having touched an instrument....with 202project,he developed his own language mixing blues, electronic,noise and experimentations, something in-between Suicide, Big Black and some psykèdelique waves. The first 202project LP was out on Tool Box records in 2003 as a 500 ex LP.., In 2005 he joined the tean briefcaserockers (L.A.) and give them somthing like 4 records .. In 2010 his album "Total eclipse " was put out by the french label "Le son du Maquis" (Cluster, Faust, alan vega) and get some very nice review... at this time JP has produced more than 300 songs including 14 solo records, a bunch of bands and collars (like The Insiders, SMC, 202morningside with Eugene Robinson from Oxbow, Viva Geneva with Giovanni Marks aka Subtitle..etc) .. he allready share the stage with:Bob log III, Hype Williams,Chelsea Wolfe, led er est,Cut Hands,Mc Lusky, Red,Neptunes, Aids wolfs,DJ Vadim, Lab waste, Subtitle, The Icarus Line, Father Murphy,The willows,Sleepy times Gorilla museum..etc... he did something like 250 shows all around Europe.
